Who Can Qualify for ECO4 Funding?

What Advantages Does ECO4 Funding Offer?

ECO4 is part of the government’s Energy Company Obligation program, designed to ensure that energy companies help households make their homes more affordable and sustainable to heat. If you qualify, you may be able to get insulation or a new boiler installed at no cost.

Can PIP Recipients Qualify for ECO4 Grants?

If you receive Personal Independence Payments (PIP), you might be eligible for an ECO4 Grant. Several ECO4 grants are available to help make your home more energy-efficient and comfortable.

You can apply for a Free Boiler Grant in just 60 seconds, and if you qualify, you can have a new, energy-efficient boiler installed at no charge. The grant also covers a free survey and installation by a qualified engineer.

You can also check if you qualify for a Free Insulation Grant. Insulating your home is a great way to retain heat, reduce heating costs, and maintain a cozy environment. If eligible, a qualified engineer will install the insulation in your home at no cost.

If your home doesn’t currently have a central heating system, you might qualify for a First Time Central Heating Grant, allowing you to save on heating costs and enjoy a more energy-efficient, warmer home.

How Can I Apply for an ECO4 Grant?

To qualify for ECO4 funding, you must be a domestic customer of a participating energy supplier and meet at least one of the following conditions:

  • You receive specific benefits, such as Pension Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance, or Universal Credit.
  • You have a low income combined with high energy costs.
  • You have medical conditions that require additional heating or insulation in your home.

All the work was completed today and I had an amazing team working on it. There were boiler, heat pump, solar trickles, and vents installation, including the ones put in the loft. There were up to 6 highly experienced guys working here, and they left everything tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. Yesterday, I had the loft and cavity walls done. I would like to say a big thank you to Zapeco and everybody involved, including the surveyor, the girls in the office, and of course, those hardworking men.
