Our Refer-A-Friend program rewards you with a one-time referral fee of £200 when you refer friends or family to ZAPECO.
To be eligible for the reward, both you and your friend must be over the age of 18 and reside in the UK.
Refer to the below terms for information on how to qualify.
The referral fee will only be paid once per new customer referred, even if they install multiple eligible grants.
These terms apply to referrals made from 1 Jan 2024.

Referring a Friend

This section applies to a customer who is referring a friend.
To refer a friend, use your unique referral link to send your friends an email or share on social media. Your link is available in your account dashboard.
The term “you” in this section refers to the referrer.

1. 1. For each friend you successfully refer to ZAPECO, you can receive £200, provided that you and your friend meet the conditions outlined below.

1. 1. Your friend must:
      1. 1. Use the referral link to sign up as a new friend to ZAPECO
      1. 1. Be a new ZAPECO customer, reside at a different address than you, and be the owner-occupier
      1. 1. Have at least one of the following Eligible Services – Boiler Replacement Grant, First Time Central Heating Grant, Home Insulation Grant, or Air Source Heat Pump Grant.
            The Eligible Service must be installed within six months of the referral link being issued.
            Multiple types of grants within the same property count as one Eligible Service; and
      1. 1. have at least one grant installed at the address for 30 days before the referral fee is paid.

1. 1. To be eligible to refer a friend, you must:
      1. 1. be an existing ZAPECO customer; and
      1. 1. not be an ZAPECO Partner.

1. 1. The referral fee will be paid within 30 days of your friend successfully having had their grant installed.

1. 1. By referring a friend and sharing your referral link with them, you agree that we may share your name with your friend so that they know who has referred them.
      We may also contact your friend to provide information regarding the grant scheme.
      Your data will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy.

General

1. 1. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions where it becomes necessary to do so.
      Customers will be notified of any changes to these terms and conditions.
      We reserve the right to remove or amend this promotion at any time.

1. 1. This promotion is for non-commercial use only. ZAPECO reserves the right to refuse to apply the referral fee to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions or anyone exploiting, in any way, the Refer-a-Friend scheme.

1. 1. Customers are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon using the Refer-a-Friend program.

1. 1. This promotion is governed by English law, and customers submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
